Thank you for joining the Pillow Talk Network!
Here are a few things you need to know before we start. The following applies to any interaction we have in private sessions as well on Slack or within the Thinkific course platform.
All information shared during our sessions will be kept strictly confidential. (Please know that there is no legal confidentiality protection for our conversations and that I would honor a subpoena or other court request for information if required; additionally, understand that if I feel that you are endangering your life or the life of another I will contact the police or other appropriate entity).
Throughout the course, the conversation will be very direct and personal. You can count on me to be honest, to be straightforward, and to make empowering requests and challenges. I may offer resources, share my experiences, and give advice.
However, you are ultimately responsible for decisions made about your life. It is up to you to decide which, if any, to act upon. If you decide to follow a recommendation, it is your choice and you take full responsibility for your choices.
Other expectations for both me and you:
Absolute confidentiality. Anything that happens inside the call, stays inside the call. This is a safe space to share so it must be an air-tight container. This is very important.
Always speak in the first person. This space is not for you to give advice to other participants. If you have something to add or relate to what another person has shared, do not give advice directly. Instead say, “What worked for me when I was in a similar situation was that I…”
No dating, flirting, or exchanging sexual energy. This goes for participants and facilitator(s). This is about sexuality in your own life. This is not a space to meet romantic partners.
Bring your full self to the table! Let’s have fun, be real, and do the work that you’re not doing anywhere else in your life.
